Hunted to near extinction by an
alien race called the Ko, my people have run from Earth and drifted so far
among the stars we can’t remember the way back. We live everywhere, but call
nowhere home. The Ko want us erased from existence and memory. They don’t even
want our DNA in the space dust. Humans disguise themselves as other alien
species and hide in plain sight. It’s the only way we can survive.
I believe in the myth of Earth.
I’ve even discovered a bona fide book written in the dead language of my
people. My man, Brody, dreams of a secret human colony. He’s searched for
years, hunting any rumor we’ve run across, and finally he’s made contact.
Usually, he’s the one grounding me to station and keeping my head out of the
atmosphere. Time for me to return the favor…that is, if I can ditch the Ko
who’ve discovered me, thanks to my incessant artifact-hunting. If we don’t make
our rendezvous, and the Ko don’t kill me, Brody just might…

The sci fi story sounds great, romance pairs so well with mysterious artifacts, pursuit and an adventure!
unfortunately I didn't do any pranks and I cannot remember any that I have been done!

My mom was born on April Fools Day - my 4 siblings and I played 100's of jokes on mom over the years I can't even think of one favorite...

This is too funny because i just did this to my husband I had been sick for like the last three or four weeks and my husband and 20 yr old son was standing there and I just got of the phone with the doc and I looked him in the eye and said your not going to believe this I'm pregnant..no mind you I'm 46 with 6 kids and 12 grand kids by 3 of my kids and my husband didn't by it but my 20 yr old sons mouth dropped open lol it was hilarious and i held it pretty good for about 4 minutes and couldn't do it any longer and then said April fools and my son said that's F*cked up MOM... My Husband just shook his head and walked away... The Kicker was I had a Hysterectomy after my last child....
don't play any or get played
Don't really play April Fools Jokes... But my youngest from the age of 3 till about 8 thought that April Fools was the greatest holiday ever and would play "April Fools" JOkes all year round. Thankfully he grew out of that stage lol.

I don't usually do April Fool's pranks, but when I was in grade 6, we put a whoopie cushion on our teacher's chair. Ended up making her cry. Little did we know she was so stressed out about her upcoming marriage. That just set her off. We all felt so bad.

I have never pranked anyone on April Fool's and the last I can remember any one doing so to me was in Elementary School...
I don't like pranks & I can't think of any played on me.
My friend's parents were married on April Fool's. They eloped, actually. Nice prank to play on their own folks. :P
