Lucky 7

This is a fun game called Lucky 7 where the lovely Erin Nicholas has tagged me and six other authors to play.

Here's how it works:

  • Post seven lines from a current work by following these rules:
  • Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript (fiction or non-fiction)
  • Go to line 7
  • Post the next 7 lines or sentences on your blog as they are (no cheating, please!)
  • Tag 7 other authors to do the same

So here's my Lucky 7 from my upcoming release (Sept)
Starved for Love

If I left now, I’d never return. Stupid Sin with his stupid blood contract.
This was why I needed new suitors. A few good men who wouldn’t hurt me or coerce me into espionage, and in return I would… I sighed, shoving my hands in my jacket pockets. I couldn’t break this blood contract, and I couldn’t dump Sin. The feeding contract binding us was made between Sin and my dad. If I broke it, my father would suffer the consequences, not me. I crossed the street. Every muscle in my body ached. Sin had accomplished his part of the bargain. For someone who had seemed put out by my surprise visit, he sure had enjoyed himself last night.

And now the really fun part, I get to tag 7 other authors to play.

Hi Annie!

Just finished Bait and it was great! I see that Catch is the next book in your Angler. Any plans to continue the series? I'd hate to read Catch and be left hangin on the Tane action. I loved Rurik, but I have a feeling I may just love Tane as much by the time book 2 is over. ;)

Book 3 of the series, Released, is on my schedule to write this fall. It should be out in bookstores by Spring/Summer 2013 :)
