Drum roll please!

Jennifer you won the Green Mountain coffee from Vermont but I don't know how to contact you! E-mail me with the details on where to send it annienicholas@ymail.com

My writer's heart has been torn in so many directions this weekend that I'm not fit to blog. LOL I ran into, not a block but more like a muddy swamp, a couple weeks ago. I knew what I wanted to write but I couldn't shut off the internal editor so progress came slow. Trying to figure out what my problem was I decided to go back to my roots. I picked up a pen and paper. The words started to flow again.

Unfortunately, I forgot how to calculate word count on paper and realized I'd been over adding. *sigh* so technically I lost seven thousand words. Then I pulled an unexpected night shift at work Saturday. By the time I'd gotten home, I'd been awaked over twenty-four hours. Not a pretty sight.

In my exhaustion, I laid my note pad with all my recent written work down and forgot where!!!

I tore my purse apart, my car apart, and called work for them to look. (My fabulous co-workers know how much it means to me.)

Nada.

My heart aching like I'd lost a pet, I wanted to weep. I tried to retrace my steps but my memories were to foggy. (Nice knowing I drove home like this, huh?)  Then out of the corner of my eye I see the corner of a familiar brown note pad on the second book shelf.

WTF? Why did I pull it out my purse and put it there? I'm happy now but exhausted. LOL

Got it. I'll send it out Friday. And I agree, I need a vacation with lots of cabana boys.
